The challenges

A year after launching their web platform, SoulSensei set its sights on launching an iOS app. As a rapidly growing venture, the product team was in a constant state of experimentation, refining their approach based on evolving metrics and user feedback. One of the primary challenges for the iOS app was creating a modular structure that could quickly accommodate new ideas and iterations, while also delivering category-defining user experiences that would lay the groundwork for long-term growth and scalability.

The solution

Collaborating closely with SoulSensei’s leadership and product teams, we focused on designing simple, clutter-free experiences that would foster higher engagement on the new mobile platform. I developed reusable editorial blocks that could be applied across various screens, creating a seamless flow of content that invited users to explore deeper, encouraging them to dive into a continuous stream of rich media. By anchoring the iOS app in a robust design system, we ensured that new features could be rolled out quickly, maintaining consistency in both design language and user behavior. Even now, I continue to work on SoulSensei’s iOS app, iterating and fine-tuning the user experience as the business continues to grow.
